This term we continue our journey through the book of Acts. Acts tells the gripping account of the early days after Jesus’ death and resurrection; it’s full of memorable characters and amazing events.
The book has traditionally been known as ‘The Acts of the Apostles’, and it’s easy to see why. The Apostles – that special group chosen by Jesus to be his witnesses – appear all the way through. At the heart of this book, however, is not the acts of the apostles, but the ongoing acts of the risen and ascended Lord Jesus, as he continues to grow his unstoppable kingdom through preaching of his gospel and the power of his Spirit.
