Service Outline.
Welcome
The Easter story doesn’t stop at Good Friday -Jesus died for the forgiveness of sin; but he also rose again three days later!
Death could not hold Jesus. In his resurrection, God has begun to undo the evil and sadness of this world. Jesus now reigns as the risen King of kings, and he freely offers all people a new and eternal life with him.
Our time together this morning will be a relaxed service celebrating this great news.
“…then the saying that is written will come true.” Death has been swallowed up in victory,” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law, But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:54-57
